Fleur means ‘flower’ in French and is a popular girl’s name in Belgium. This birth announcement card not only illustrates her name but also conveys her parents’ wish: for her to always be surrounded by the most beautiful flowers in her sweetest dreams.
Design process
🌸 My inspiration blossomed from a real flower bouquet.
🌸 First, I sketched ideas in pencil, seeking client approval before moving to the painting phase.
🌸 To capture a dreamy feel, I opted for traditional painting over digital.
🌸 The artwork was later scanned at high resolution and adjusted for print format, with text digitally added.
